Greg Laudeman, Ed.D.
Director of Broadband and Smart City Planning
With more than 30 years of experience working in technology and with tech startups, Greg is leading Magellan’s practice guiding and supporting next-generation network infrastructure development. Since joining Magellan in 2015, he has led numerous initiatives to develop state-of-the-art fiber networks for communities across the country.
For more than a decade Greg led broadband planning efforts for the Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute. Prior to that he developed customer solutions for BellSouth, MCI and other technology and telecommunications companies, working with people from the corner office to the front line. Greg’s specialty is translating goals for development, operations and quality of place into broadband infrastructure via practical, high-value plans.
Greg holds a doctorate in Learning and Leadership, as well as a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He also has master’s degrees in Public Policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology and in Telecommunications from Michigan State University.
